یہ سیریز مائیکل پیٹرونی کی کتاب (دی بک تھیو) سے ماخوذ کیا گیا ہے جس میں ایک شخص مسیح ہونے کا دعویٰ کرتا ہے اور اس کے پاس کئی قسم کے معجزے بھی ہوتے ہیں۔ امریکی تحقیقاتی ادارہ (سی آئی اے) اس مسیح نامی کردار کو گرفتار کر کے تحقیقات کرتا ہے۔
